Join Hands Day:

Big Brothers Big Sisters and Woodmen of the World celebrated the 3rd Annual Super Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, April 30th at the W.O.W. Headquarters in Hopkinsville. This event marked the annual W.O.W. Join Hands Day. Funds raised will go a long way to support the efforts of BBBS in matching children in need with positive adult role models who can make a difference in the lives of children.

Everyone had the opportunity to spotlight their talents through karaoke. If you missed this event, we hope you will join us next year. Our heartfelt thanks for all the food and supplies generously donated by David Donaho, Gordon Food Services (GFS). Thank you, David, for your support. We could not have been so successful without you. Thank you, as well, to Randy Barlow and Mindy McGregor of the Holiday Inn, Hopkinsville, for making the introduction of BBBS to GFS. Randy and Mindy are dedicated supporters of BBBS, and we are so very grateful. For those of you who attended, thank you for your generous support.

Bowl for Kids' Sake 2011:

The figures are in and we would like to thank Metalsa for raising $1,210, and Brazeway for raising $1,073! You are the top fundraisers!

The Spirit Award winners were: Mighty Metalsa Mommas (Metalsa), Christian County Chamber of Commerce, Brazeway and Planter's Bank. Thank you for your enthusiasm!
